Visitors Welcome

Paramount High School West Campus is pleased to announce that we are implementing a new Visitor Management System (VMS) in order to better ensure the safety and security of our campus.  Part of keeping students and staff safe is knowing who is on our campus at all times. The VMS will allow us to do just that. The VMS tracks visitors, contractors and volunteers coming into our school and cross references a visitor’s name and birthdate with that of the national sex offender registry. In doing so, the VMS will provide an alert on people who may jeopardize the safety of our campus.

Visitors requesting to enter the campus, will be asked to present a valid, government issued ID, such as a driver’s license, military identification card, passport or passport card, which will then be scanned or manually entered into the system.  The data taken from the ID provided is only for comparison to the sex offender database and the information is not shared with any outside government agencies.  Once entry is approved, you will be issued a printed badge with your name, photograph, the date, and the purpose of your visit.  All visitors are required to wear the printed badge while on our campus.

A visitor’s badge will not be necessary for those who visit our school simply to drop off and/or pick up paperwork, other items, or your child from the office. Similar to our current policy, visitors will not be permitted to enter campus without valid identification.

The safety of our students and staff is very important to all of us here at Paramount High School West Campus. Thank you in advance for supporting our continued efforts to keep our school community safe.
